December 2010 - The Phototribe Outing (updates!!!)

Dear all photographers and car lovers. PLAN CHANGE. Now we are going to Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show. Since this event is held annually or occasionally we will keep KL Hop-On Hop-Off for next semester.

Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show

The Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (KLIMS) is back again for its 7th presentation to delight car enthusiasts and motoring reviewers from the region! The world's most illustrious and glitzy automobiles will once again converge at KLIMS to showcase the automotive achievements of today and the possibilities of tomorrow.

Themed "We Care", KLIMS'10 will make its prestigious appearance to showcase the auto industry's accent on consumer, environment and community care. Besides showcasing the latest automotive products and innovations that can be found in the market, the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) hopes to bring forth the automotive industry's initiatives in contributing to the well-being of mankind. KLIMS'10 will add momentum to the Green Campaign by encouraging the automotive industry to showcase environment friendly vehicles and promoting the appeal of these vehicles to the public.

KLIMS'10 is also an opportune platform for exhibitors to promote their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme.

DATE: 10th December 2010.
TIME: 2pm till 6pm

TICKET PRICE: Adult RM18 during weekday/ Students with students card RM5

Calling all lomographers, compact cameras, DSLR, SLR, medium format, HD handphone :P and all snappy devices. The phototribe next outing will be on the 14th December 2010 (TBC) immediately after week 14. Im planning to go around KL with KL Hop-On Hop Off City Tour. We will only be hop-off the bus to certain attractive points else most of the time we will be on the 2nd deck - skyview open deck to capture scenery on the bus.

Hop-off points:
1) Dataran Merdeka
2) KLCC
3) Central Market
4) National Museum

Bus ticket should be RM12 (local students price). Waiting point will be at MALAYSIA TOURISM CENTER (MTC) - 10am till 5pm. 1pm lunch at Central Market area.
